Minneapolis Climate Week only works if people feel safe enough to show up, speak up, and come back. This code of conduct is the baseline for everyone.

Who it covers

Organizers, volunteers, hosts, speakers, sponsors, and every attendee. No exceptions, including us.

Where it applies

Event spaces, our online spaces, official social gatherings, and event-related communication.

What's expected

Respect, consent, and making room for people different from you.

What's not allowed

Harassment, discrimination, and retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.

How to report a concern

Two people are reachable during the week:

Cameron Popp, [email protected]

Rohan Bhatia, [email protected]

We're looking for more responders, especially people from outside the Twin Cities Climate Collaborative (TC3). If you have experience with community safety, conflict resolution, or care work and you'd be willing to be reachable during the week, please email us.

What happens next

A report goes to one of the responders. They talk with the person reporting first and decide next steps with them, not around them.

Consequences range from a conversation to removal from an event or from the week.

We won't retaliate against anyone who reports something, and we won't ask you to report in front of the person you're reporting about.

Photography

Every event offers a way to opt out of being photographed. A colored lanyard or sticker works fine.
