💡 Path 1: "I have an idea"
Good for anyone still deciding the format, looking for a co-host or venue, or just wondering if it's a fit.
- Fill out the idea form. It takes about five minutes. A working title and one sentence is enough to start.
- Your idea shows up in the event pipeline below so other organizers can see what's brewing. Your contact info stays private.
- We follow up if you asked for help with a venue, co-host, or speakers, and we'll connect you with people working the same ground.
- When you're ready Create your Luma event and submit it to the MCW calendar no later than Jan 11 (steps in Path 2).
📮 Path 2: "My event is ready"
- Create your event on Luma at luma.com or add it from your event provider of your choice! You only need a name to start, and you can edit the rest later.
- Paste this line into your event description: "By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of Minneapolis Climate Week."
- Add [email protected] as a co-host with permission to manage the event. That's how your event shows up on the central calendar.
- Submit it to luma.com/mpls-cw: choose "Submit Event," then "Submit Existing Luma Event," and paste your event's URL.
- We review it and approve it, usually within a few days. If something's missing, we'll tell you!
- Log it in the idea form too if you didn't start there. It takes two minutes and keeps the pipeline complete.
What every listing needs
